My name is Amelia Busenhart and I am the founder of the handmade jewelry business, Cimelia Creations. Since I was a little girl, jewelry has played a persistent and undeniably magical role in my life. This obsession began with my very first pair of earrings gifted to me by my INCREDIBLE mother, when returning home from one of her many solo travels. I was immediately enamored by not only the brilliance of these pieces, but by the way they made me feel. I will never forget how it felt to look at myself in the mirror adorned in jewels for the first time and feel like a fucking piece of art! Not only did wearing jewelry feel like one of the most powerful acts of self love there was, I was overwhelmed by the feeling of connection it gave me. Jewelry served as a connection to my mom, the places she had explored, the people she met, and my personal favorite: what reminded her of me, from across the world!
